This project, funded by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, involved a comprehensive enumeration of settlements within 0-2 kilometres of health facilities. We trained local teams on data collection tools, successfully identifying previously excluded children under 2-5 years old and women, enhancing the accuracy of health interventions.
Digital Birth Reporting System for Internally Displaced Populations in Nigeria
This project aims to conduct an equity analysis of birth registration data to determine the impact of gender on birth registration. Additionally, it seeks to promote the importance of gender inclusion and support the state in revising immunization and birth registration data tools to include gender-aggregated data.
Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH) Data analytics support for Kaduna and Kano states
This project, funded by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, generated substantial evidence on MNH indices and provided recommendations to enhance data. We examined intersections between GANC, M PHC, Supply Chain, and BHCPF, successfully diagnosing anemia in GANC/PNC sites and detailing the availability of midwives across PHCs.
Development of REW IEC Materials for Immunization-Offering Health Facilities
This project, funded by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, updated the REW micro plan in Routine Immunization Health Facilities (RIHFs) in Gombe and Zamfara. We trained health workers to use IEC materials during vaccination procedures, increasing the number of children vaccinated.
