Job Summary
As the Operations Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across various departments. You’ll be responsible for optimizing internal processes, managing cross-functional collaboration and ensuring that project delivery aligns with business goals. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for efficiency, leadership, and delivering impactful results in a digital-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations across teams to ensure smooth workflows
- Design, implement, and refine operational processes and systems
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively develop solutions to enhance productivity
- Oversee daily operations across HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Communications, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices
- Support the Director of Operations and MD in strategic planning and execution
- Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management
- Oversee procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations
- Ensure cost-effectiveness and transparency in purchasing and asset management
- Collaborate closely with project managers, marketing, and client success teams
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Reports To: Director of Operations / Managing Partner
Qualifications & Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (1st Class or 2nd Class Upper) in business administration, Operations Management, Finance, or any related field. (Master’s degree) is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency in financial oversight, procurement, and HR practices
- Experience with Budgeting and resource allocation
- Familiarity with CRMS and ERP systems e.g Odoo, Harvest, SeamlessHR etc.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management in professional services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
5+ years in operations, administration, or a similar multi-functional role, preferably in consulting or professional services.
