Role Overview
ACE Group seeks a Technical Analyst to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of its programs and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will provide technical and analytical support across research, program implementation, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement to drive organizational learning and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of programs from planning through implementation and reporting
- Conduct literature reviews, desk research, and evidence synthesis to inform program design and technical outputs
- Assist with research activities, including data collection, documentation, quality assurance, and study coordination
- Analyze and synthesize program and research data to identify trends and generate insights for evidence-based decision-making
- Assist in preparation of technical deliverables, including proposals, reports, presentations, briefs, and knowledge products
- Support project monitoring by maintaining work plans, trackers, implementation records, and performance data
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagements, and other project activities, including documentation and follow-up
- Support the monitoring of program progress and contribute to periodic reports and implementation updates
- Build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, partners, consultants and other stakeholders
- Provide technical, administrative, and operational support to organizational priorities and and other assignments as required
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant work, research, volunteer, or internship experience in health research, public health program, or a related field
- Prior exposure to clinical research, implementation science, or newborn/maternal and child health is an advantage
- Demonstrated interest in health systems strengthening, research administration, or evidence-to-policy work
- Familiarity with the Nigerian health system and/or experience working with academic, government, or non-profit institutions is desirable
Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear reports, briefs, and correspondence
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data tools is an advantage
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive institutional and research information
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to engage with diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, and government partners
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, incubating institutional environment
